You can use SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards, or SDXC memory cards with this camera.
However, if you use an SDHC card and insert it into a card reader, the card may not be recognized by the computer depending on the version of the operating system. You can use a card reader with a Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista (SP1 or later) computer, but there are cases where you may not be able to use the reader with a Windows XP computer. For detailed information, please contact Microsoft Corporation.
IMPORTANT
For details on whether your computer's operating system is SDXC-compatible, check with your computer's manufacturer.
NOTE
- If you are using a Mac OS, you can download images with the EOS Utility software that is supplied with your camera* by connecting your camera to a computer via an interface cable.
- For the details about how to use EOS Utility to download images, please refer to the instruction manuals that came with your camera.*
