You can use the Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY app to set up your printer to the wireless network.  The app itself can be used for scanning and printing from your iOS device and for making copy settings

Prior to setup you will need to have the  Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY app installed on your iPad or iPhone (Get the Application) and power on the printer.

Follow the steps below to complete the setup:

1. Hold down the Wi­Fi button (A) on the printer until the ON lamp (B) flashes 2 times, then release the Wi­Fi button after the second flash.

    

   

2. Wait until the WiFi lamp flashes rapidly.  Go to Settings - Wi-Fi on the iOS device and select the Canon_ij_Setup network.  
   
   
    

3. On the main screen, tap the Canon PRINT icon

   

4. Tap the "+" (Plus) icon on the upper left corner of the Canon PRINT screen

   

5. Tap Register Printer

   

6. Tap Printer Setup

   

7. Tap Connect via wireless router (recommended)

   

8. Tap OK

   

9. Tap the name of your wireless network (MyNetwork is used in the example screen below)

   

10. Type in the network's password and tap OK

    

11. Tap OK on the Sent the settings message

    

12. Setup is complete and the printer is ready for use.
