Printing a Document with Canon PRINT (Android)

Learn how to print documents stored on your Android device using Canon PRINT.

Solution

To print a document in Canon PRINT, follow these steps.

  1. From the main screen, tap Document Print.

  2. Select a location where the document is saved. For this example, Smartphone will be selected.

  3. Tap on the document that you want to print.

     Above where the documents are shown, you'll see the name of the folder you're currently looking in. Tap that folder name to see other folders you can browse through.

     If you tap the bars near the upper left  you can choose if you want to browse your device or a memory card if you have one inserted.

     The interface for browsing through your Android device may vary from the screenshots shown here.

  4. After a few moments, the document will appear on the screen.  Tap Next.

  5. If the document you want to print has multiple pages, you will be asked to specify which pages to print. Tap AllCurrent page, or Pages. If you tap Pages, specify the range of pages you want to print, then tap OK.

  6. A screen will appear showing the settings that will be used to print the document. Tapping Change settings will allow you to change various options such as the paper size, type, etc. Tapping Print will start the printing process.

     The settings that can be changed may vary based on the model of printer being used.

    Tap Print (outlined in red) to print. Tap Change settings if you want to specify the paper size, type, or number of copies

 Tapping the Menu  icon will show an option to go back to the main menu.  When you tap this, you will see the message "Delete the conversion result. Please confirm."  Tap Yes to return to the main menu.
