This article will show you how to print a document from Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY on an iOS device.

  • Depending on the iOS device you are using, the interface may look slightly different than the images in this article.

To print a document in Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY:

  1. From the main screen, tap Document Print.

  2. Select Documents or Cloud Services.  In this example, Documents will be selected.

  3. Specify a location where you have a document saved.  In this example, On My iPhone will be selected.

  4. Browse through the folders displayed.  You can sort the folders by Name, Date, Size, or Tags.

After you have selected a folder (such as PRINT in this example), you can either tap a subfolder, or you can add an additional subfolder by tapping on the icon towards the upper left (indicated by the blue arrow).

If you want to add a subfolder, give that folder a name, then tap Done.

  5. Tap on the document that you want to print.

Note:  For steps on deleting a previously scanned document, click here.

  6. The document will appear on the screen.  Tap Next.

On the Print screen, you can tap Change settings to change your print options, or you can tap Print.

    Your document will be printed.

  • If you wish to open a saved document in another app, click here.
  • Tapping the Home  icon will take you back to the main screen.

  • If you want to delete a document that you scanned in previously, follow steps 1 through 5 above.  When you get to the document in question, tap and hold on the icon for the document for 3 seconds, then let go.  A menu will appear above the document.

Tap on the right arrow on this menu.

    Tap Delete.

    The document is now deleted.

  • If you want to use another app to open a document that you scanned in previously, tap the Share  icon in Step 6 above. Several options will appear.  Select an app that you wish to use to open the document (Books is used in this example).

After tapping Copy to Books as shown in the screen above, this PDF will open in the Books app.

The apps you can select will vary depending on what is installed on your iOS device.
