In order to set up a printer wirelessly, you will need to first initiate setup mode on the printer, and then connect it to your wireless network.
Initiate printer setup

- Make sure that the printer is turned on. If the power is on, the on light (A) will be lit.

If the printer is performing a cleaning, print head alignment or other processes, wait for the process to finish
- If the Wi-Fi® light (B) is flashing, press the Stop button (C).

Connect to wireless network
Internet connection may not be available during setup.
- Cableless setup isn't available on Chrome OS or Windows RT.
Choose one of the connection options below that is based on your setup method:
- Option 1: Connect the printer wirelessly for use with a Windows® or Mac® computer

This method is the most popular choice for those printing from a computer or laptop.

This method is the best choice for those who wish to print and scan via a mobile device.
- Option 3: Use the WPS Push Button method.

This is a connection method available to those with a working WPS button on their router.
