Wireless Connection

Before Starting Wireless Connection Setup

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.

    If the power is on, the ON lamp (A) will be lit.

If the printer is performing cleaning, print head alignment, or other processes

Wait for the process to finish, before starting setup.

  1. If the Wi-Fi lamp (B) on the printer is flashing, press the Stop button (C).

Select a connection method below.

Cableless setup may take some time. Internet connection may become temporarily unavailable during setup.

Cableless setup is not available on Chrome OS or Windows RT.
 

  • Cableless setup

    This method allows you to send wireless router information to the printer directly from a device (such as a smartphone), without operating the wireless router.

    For Windows PCs and Mac computers, you will need to run the installation program to execute a cableless setup.
