Legal use of GPS

Your camera is equipped with GPS and, when enabled, it includes location information in the Exif data appended to the images you take. This is completely legal in most of the world; however some countries or regions do not allow the use of GPS.

There may be times when you do not want this location information included in images you share. Check with the destination country before you travel and change the GPS setting accordingly.
