You can connect your camera to a printer and print using Wi-Fi.
When establishing a wireless connection with a printer, you can either use the camera as an access point (Camera Access Point Mode) or use another access point.
IMPORTANT
- This camera requires a PrintBridge-compatible printer (supporting DPS over IP) for printing via Wi-Fi.
- Procedures for connecting the camera to a printer via Wi-Fi are explained below. For more information on printer-specific Wi-Fi settings, please refer to the printerâs instruction manual.
NOTE
- Connections require that a memory card with saved images be inãthe camera.
- Follow these instructions when using the camera as an access point.
Connecting your camera and printer via Wi-Fi Register the printer you want to connect to using Wi-Fi.
1. Press and hold the Playback <  > button to turn the camera on.
- The playback screen appears.
2. Press the <  > button, display the menu screen, and choose [Wi-Fi] located on the right side of the screen.
NOTE
- When setting up Wi-Fi for the first time, the camera nickname registration screen will be displayed.

- This nickname will be displayed on [Select a Device] screen when connecting to other devices via Wi-Fi.
- If the [Device Nickname] screen is displayed, choose [OK]. (The camera model name (G9 X) is set as the nickname by default.)
- To change the cameraâs nickname, touch the [Nickname] field and enter the desired nickname using the keyboard displayed. After you have finished entering the nickname, press the <MENU> button, and then touch [OK].
3. Touch [  ] when the screen below is displayed.
4. Touch [Add a device].
NOTE
- Once a printer is added, the printer name will be displayed on the screen in step 4. To connect to a printer again, simply choose the printer name from the list.
- Once you have connected to devices via the Wi-Fi menu, recent destinations will be listed first when you access the Wi-Fi menu. You can easily connect again by touching the desired device to choose it.
- To add a new device, display the device selection screen, and then configure the setting. If you prefer not to display recent target devices, choose MENU > [
 ] tab > [Wi-Fi Settings] > [Target History] > [Off].
5. Choose the displayed SSID (network name) from the printer's Wi-Fi setting menu.
6. Once the printer is ready for the connection, the printerâs name will be displayed on the camera. Touch the printerâs name to choose it.
7. After the printer has been registered, a screen similar to the following one will be displayed.
Printing Images 8. Touch the arrows located on the left and right sides of the screen to select the desired image and then press the < > button.
9. The menu screen is displayed. Touch [  : Print ] (  ) located on the right side of the screen.
10. The screen for specifying the print settings appears.
- To add the date to images, touch () and make the settings.
- To specify the number of prints, touch (
 ) and make the settings.
- Then, touch [Paper Settings] (
 ).
11. The screen for setting the paper size appears.
Choose the desired paper size, and then press the < > button.
- [Default] has been selected in the example image above.
12. The screen for setting the paper type appears.
Choose the paper type, then press the < > button.
- [Photo] has been selected in the example image above.
13. The layout (border) settings screen appears.
Choose the layout type, then press the < > button.
- [Bordered] has been selected in the example image above.
14. The camera returns to the print setting screen.
 Make sure that the settings are correct.
 Touch [Print] to begin printing.
15. Printing begins.
