This article will show you where to find the serial number for the imagePROGRAF PRO-1000.


 

Solution

The serial number for this printer can be located in two different areas.

The serial number is printed on the sticker attached on the back of the printer. It consists of 9 alphanumeric characters (four letters followed by five numbers).

Example:

 Note

  • AZDK is part of the FCC ID and not the serial number.
  • The printer serial number is written on the warranty.
  • Depending on the printer you are using, you can check the serial number by printing out the network setting information of the printer.



If it is not possible to get to the back of the printer to read the serial number, it can also be displayed on the LCD.  Follow the steps below to show the printer's serial number on the LCD.
 
  1. From the Home screen, use the up or down arrows to highlight Printer information.  Then, press OK.

  2. System information will be highlighted.  Press OK.

  3. The serial number will appear on the LCD.

  4. Press the HOME button to return to the Home screen.
