It may be necessary to move a competitor's data source files from the TWAIN Data Sources folder so that the Canon scanner driver will function properly.
- In Finder, click Go, then Computer.
- In the Computer window, double click on the icon for your hard drive.
- Open the Library folder.
- Open the Image Capture folder.
- Open the TWAIN Data Sources folder.
- Move any non-Canon files into another folder on your computer.
- Try to scan again with the application you were using.
