Wireless setup is a quick and easy way to connect your printer to your network. This can be used if you are setting up a new computer, adding additional computers, or reconnecting to the network after a router or network change.
There are two parts to the setup:
- Start the setup process on your printer.
- Download and run the setup file on your computer.
1. Start the setup process on your printer

Press the HOME button (A) on the printer.
If an error screen displays, tap OK to dismiss the error, then press the HOME button.

Flick the screen left or right, then tap LAN settings.

Tap Wireless LAN setup.

Tap Cableless setup.

Tap OK.
2. Download and run the setup file on your computer

Go to the Setup page, read the information, then select the Download button to download the setup file.
If your computer has a CD/DVD drive, you can use the Setup CD instead.

Double-click on the downloaded file, then select Run. (If you're using the Setup CD, double-click on Run Msetup4.exe.)

Select Start Setup.

Continue to follow on-screen instructions. Select Yes on the License Agreement in order to continue.

On the Select Connection Method screen, select Wireless LAN Connection, then Next.
- Select Connect via wireless router (recommended), then Next.
- On the Select Printer screen, select your printer (verify it by the last 5 digits of the serial number), then Next.
- Drivers install. Wait for the installation to complete.
- On the Test Print page, select Execute to run a test print, or Next to continue.

On the Setup Complete screen, select Next. You're almost finished.

On the Software Installation List, select any optional software you want to install, then Next.

Skip or complete the User Registration. Follow all instructions if completing the registration.

Select Exit. Setup is complete. You are ready to print wirelessly.
