Solution

Note These instructions are for a Windows computer. Here's how to print a test page using a Mac®.


The test page will vary depending on which version of Windows you're running.

 

Find your version of Windows below and go to that section to follow the steps

  • Windows XP

    1. Select Start on the Windows task bar, and then select Printers and Faxes.

    2. Right-click on the corresponding printer driver icon.

    3. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.

    4. Select the Print Test Page button.

  • Windows Vista

    1. Select Start on the Windows task bar, and then select Control Panel.

      • If the Control Panel is in the Category view, select Printer under Hardware and Sound.

      • If the Control Panel is in the Classic view, double click Printers.

    2. Right-click on the corresponding printer driver icon.

    3. Select Properties from the pop-up menu.

    4. Select the Print Test Page button.

  • Windows 7

    1. Select Start on the Windows task bar, and then select Devices and Printers.

    2. Right-click on the corresponding printer driver icon.

    3. Select Printer Properties from the pop-up menu or right-click the printer driver icon and select Properties from the pop-up menu.

    4. Select the Print Test Page button.

  • Windows 8 / 8.1

    1. Press the Windows  key on the keyboard and the letter X at the same time.

    2. Select Control Panel.

    3. If the Control Panel is in the Category view, select View devices and printers under Hardware and Sound.

    4. If the Control Panel is in the Large icons or Small icons view, select Devices and Printers.

    5. Right-click on the corresponding printer driver icon.

    6. Select Printer Properties from the pop-up menu.

    7. Select the Print Test Page button.

  • Windows 10

    1. From the Start menu, select Settings.

    2. Select Devices.

    3. Select Bluetooth & devices.

    4. Select Devices and printers on the right.

    5. Right-click on the corresponding printer driver icon.

    6. Select Printer Properties from the pop-up menu.

    7. Select the Print Test Page button.

  • Windows 11

  1. From the Start menu, select Settings.

  2. Select Bluetooth & devices.

  3. Select Devices.

  4. Then, at the bottom, under Related settings, select Devices and printers.

  5. Right-click on the corresponding printer driver icon.

  6. Select Printer Properties from the pop-up menu.

  7. Select the Print Test Page button.
