Things to note when charging battery packs (XC15)

Solution

  • We recommend charging the battery pack in temperatures between 10â and 30 â (50 â and 86 â). If either the ambient temperature or the battery pack's temperature is outside the range of approx. 0â to 40â (32 â to 104 â), charging may take longer than usual or charging may not start.
  • If you are using a genuine Canon battery pack, there may be a problem with the camcorder or battery pack. Consult a Canon Service Center.
  • If the power supply was disconnected while charging a battery pack, make sure the POWER / CHG indicator has gone out before restoring the power supply.
  • If you do not intend to use the camcorder for a long time, store it in a place free of dust, in low humidity, and at temperatures not higher than 30â (86 â).

Use of genuine Canon accessories is recommended.
