You can use this camcorder overseas.
Please refer to the following things when you plan to use it overseas.
- Using the Camcorder Abroad
You can use the AC adapter to operate the camcorder and to charge battery packs in any country with power supply between 100 and 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Consult a Canon Service Center for information on plug adapters for overseas use
However, you need a plug adapter to use the camcorder in a country where the power plug shape is different from that of your own country. (Please note that depending on the region, the plug shape may be different even in the same country.)
For information about power adapters, consult with a local travel agency or home appliance shops.
IMPORTANT
- To prevent equipment breakdowns and excessive heating, do not connect the supplied AC adapter to voltage converters for overseas travels or special power sources such as those on aircraft and ships, DC-AC inverters, etc.
- Use of genuine Canon accessories is recommended. This product is designed to achieve excellent performance when used with genuine Canon accessories. Canon shall not be liable for any damage to this product and/or accidents such as fire, etc., caused by the malfunction of non-genuine Canon accessories (e.g., a leakage and/or explosion of a battery pack). Please note that this warranty does not apply to repairs arising out of the malfunction of non-genuine Canon accessories, although you may request such repairs on a chargeable basis.
