Learn how to register your PIXMA printer with Google Cloud Print.


After December 31, 2020, Google Cloud Print will no longer be supported.


You can register your printer with Google Cloud Print™ through Google Chrome™ or another browser.

Before you begin

To register with Google Cloud print, you will need to get a Google account.

Good to know

If the printer owner changes, make sure to delete the previous registration from Google Cloud Print.

The printer and computer need to be connected to a wireless network to register or delete the printer from Google Cloud Print.

Use Google Chrome to register

  1. Start the Google Chrome browser on your computer.

  2. Select Sign in to Chrome from the Chrome Chrome menu icon menu.

  3. Log in to your Google account.

  4. Select Settings from the Chrome Chrome menu icon menu.

  5. Select Advanced to display information.

  6. Select Manage for Google Cloud Print.

  7. When the Canon MG3000 series and Add printers buttons display, select Add printers.

  8. When the confirmation message for registering the printer appears, select OK.

  9. Press the Wi-Fi button after the Wi-Fi lamp flashes 3 times. Printer registration is complete.

​Use another web browser to register

  1. Make sure the printer is turned ON.

  2. Select Display the printer status in a web browser.

  3. Select Web service connection setup > Google Cloud Print setup > Register with Google Cloud Print.
    Note If you already registered with Google Cloud print, you will get a notice asking you to re-register.

  4. When the confirmation screen to register the printer displays, select Yes.

  5. ​Select the language you want to display for the printer setup for Google Cloud Print.

  6. ​Perform the authentication process.

  7. When the registration completion message appears, select OK.
