Description

This article explains how to make a copy using Canon PRINT. This article applies to both the iOS and Android versions of this app.

Please note that not all models that are supported by this app will support this function.

Solution

Installing Canon PRINT on your smartphone/tablet allows you to perform copy settings or operations from your smartphone / tablet.

Canon PRINT is a Canon-made application and can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS / iPadOS) and Google Play (Android and ChromeOS).

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.

  2. Load paper into the appropriate source.

  3. Connect the printer and your device.

  • For iOS / iPadOS:

  1. Start Canon PRINT from your device.

  2. Make sure your printer is selected.
    If not, select your printer.

  3. Select Copy on the main menu.

    Select Copy (outlined in red)

  4. Specify settings as necessary.
    The setting items below are available.

    • Copies

    • Paper Size

    • Media Type

    • Magnification

    • Copy Intensity

    • Print Quality

  5. Load the original document on the platen (scanner) glass or in the ADF (Auto Document Feeder).

  6. Select Color Copy in the application for color copying or Black Copy for black & white copying.

  7. If a screen asking you to enter a password is displayed, enter the printer's password (usually the printer's serial number) and select OK in the application.
    If asked to save the password, select SaveNot now, or Do not save.

    Enter the printer's password and select OK

    The machine starts copying.
