If you are using a third-party USB cable or USB charger, it is possible that the indicator on the camera will not light in orange or even if the indicator is lit, it will turn off after a short time, disabling charging of the battery. In such cases, it is recommended that you use a separately-sold interface cable IFC-600PCU and compact power adaptor CA-DC30 series.
