Access the RemoteUI (WebUI) on the ScanFront 400

Description

In order to access the ScanFront 400 remotely using the WebUI, please follow the following steps.

Solution

In the Address bar of the web browser:

Microsoft Internet Explorer: Type "http://" followed by the IP address of the scanner (ie. xx.xxx.xx.xxx) followed by ":50080" (colon, port number).

Google Chrome: Type the scanner's IP address followed by a colon and the port number (i.e. 12.345.67.890:50080).

Mozilla's Firefox: The same rule applies as Microsoft's IE - http://xx.xxx.xx.xxx:50080 (xx.xxx.xx.xxx is the scanner's IP address).

NOTE: If using SSL, the port you need to use is "50443" (not "50080").
