Adding a TCP/IP Port - Windows

The following example shows how to add a TCP/IP port to a printer's ports list.

1. Open the printer's properties window.
   For help, click here
   
    
2. Select the Ports tab.
    

    

3. Select Add Port...
   
   
    

    

4. Select Standard TCP/IP Port and click New Port...
   
   
    

    

5. Click Next >
   
   
    

    

6. Enter the printer's IP address and Click Next >
   
   
   
   Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard will search for and detect the port.
    

    

7. Click Finish
   
   
    

    

8. Click Close
   
   
    

    

9. Click Apply
   
   
    

    

10. Click OK
