How to Print a PDF from Safari Using Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY (iOS)

Description

This article explains how you can print a PDF from Safari on iOS devices and Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY.

Solution

If you are using Safari on an iOS device and you open a PDF, it will open within Safari.  You can use Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY to print the PDF.  Follow the steps below to print it.

  1. When you have the PDF file open in Safari, tap the Share  icon.

    Tap the Share icon (outlined in red)

    Tap PRINT.

  2. The PDF will open in Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY.  Tap Next to proceed.

    Tap Next (outlined in red). Tapping the Share icon (outlined in blue) will provide additional options

    You will be able to save the PDF file to your iOS device, email it with the Mail app or open it in other apps.  Tap any of these options if desired.  Otherwise, tap Cancel.  Then, tap Next.

  3. You will be at the Print screen.  Tap Change settings to change the various settings used for printing (number of copies, print range, etc.).  Tap Print to begin printing.

    Tap Print (outlined in red) to print the file. Tap Change settings (outlined in blue) to adjust print settings as desired
