Manual/Auto Switch and User-friendly RX

By default, Manual/Auto Switch is set to OFF. If it was set to ON and you want to change this setting or if you want to increase the time before the fax answers, follow these steps.
 

1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.
    
2. From the HOME screen, tap FAX
   
   
    
3. Tap Function list.
   
   
    
4. Tap Receive mode settings.
   
   
    
5. With Tel priority mode selected, tap Advanced.
   
   
    
6. Tap Manual/auto switch: OFF or Manual/auto swtich: ON.
   
   
    
7. If you tap Manual/auto swtich: ON, you will need to specify the RX start time.  Tap the up or down arrows to choose between 10-60 seconds.  Then, tap OK..
   
   
    
8. Whether you selected Manual/auto swtich: ON and specified the RX start time or if you selected Manual/auto switch: OFF, you will then be asked to specify User-friendly RX: OFF or User-friendly RX: ON.  Tap the option you want.
   
   
    
9. Tap OK.
   
   
    
10. Tap HOME to return to the main screen.
