List of the directory and file structure of MP4 camcorders.
Solution
For users who wish to "drag and drop" the video files created by the camcorder the videos can be located by drilling down thru the following folders.
Double click on the removable disc drive icon to display the root folder of the drive.
Double click on the [DCIM] folder.
Double click on the folder that is contained within. It will normally be named with a series of numbers. The video files will be contained within this folder with a .MP4 extension.
NOTE: Longer continuous recordings may be broken up into multiple files. This is normal and is necessary for compatibility with the built-in memory and/or memory card file system. Most MP4 editing software is capable of rejoining these files into one large video file on the computer.
