Description

Understand and resolve Error and Support Codes that display on your PIXMA TS3120, TS3122 printer or computer screen.

Solution

When an error occurs during printing, for example if the paper runs out or jams, you may see:

  • A troubleshooting message on your computer screen.

  • An Error Code on your printer screen (LCD).

  • Support Code (error number) as shown below.

Windows computer screen image: error message including the Support Code highlighted

Error Codes

When an Error Code appears on your printer screen (LCD):

  • The orange lamp lights on the printer screen.

Printer screen image: Error Code indicated with orange lamp lit

  • The green and orange lamp flash alternately on the printer screen.

Printer screen image: Error Code indicated with green lamp and orange lamp flashing alternately

  • The Error Code displays on the screen sequentially. For example, if the Error Code is E03, you will see:
Printer screen image: Error Code displays one by one

Note A steady "0" on the display is normal, not an error. If the LCD displays flashing / alternating zeros, the front cover may be open.
