Description

Check out the video or text instructions to fix Error Code 1300: Paper jam on a PIXMA TS3120 or 3122.

Solution

Good to know

  • First, try turning the printer off, then back on. The paper may eject automatically.

  • If paper jams during printing, press the Stop button before you turn off the printer.

  • If the paper tears and you can't remove it from the paper output slot or the rear tray, you will need to remove the paper jam inside the printer.

  • When you reload paper, be sure to use suitable paper and load it correctly.

  • We recommend using paper sizes other than A5 to print documents with photos or graphics. A5 paper may curl and jam as it leaves the printer.

Written instructions - Remove paper jam from rear tray

If there's a jam in the rear tray, follow these steps:

  1. Slowly pull out paper, either from paper output slot or from rear tray, whichever is easier. Hold the paper with both hands, and pull it out slowly so it doesn't tear.

  2. Reload the paper and press the printer's OK button.

  3. Printing resumes. Reprint the page if necessary.
Note If you turned off the printer before Step 1, the print data is erased. You will need to restart the print job.
