Description

Use the Easy Wireless Connect method to connect your PIXMA TS9120 to a wireless network using a Windows PC.

Solution

The instructions below show how to use the Easy Wireless Connect method to print and scan wirelessly from the PIXMA TS9120 to a Windows computer. 


NOTEStart Easy Wireless Connect on the printer and then complete the setup on the computer.

The setup process consists of 2 parts:

  1. Starting Easy Wireless Connect on the printer, and
  2. Downloading and running the setup file to install the drivers and software.

 


1. Start Easy Wireless Connect on the printer.

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.
    If the power is on, the POWER lamp (A) will be lit.

    If the printer is performing any process, wait for the process to finish, before starting setup.

  2. If HOME is displayed on the left side of the screen, tap HOME.
    If an error screen is displayed, tap OK, then tap HOME.

  3. Tap Network status (B).

  4. Tap LAN settings.

  5. Tap Wireless LAN.

  6. Tap Wireless LAN setup.

  7. Tap Easy wireless connect.

  8. Tap Yes.

  9. When the printer preparation is complete, the screen below appears.
    Return to the setup application screen and proceed with the setup.

2. Download and run the setup file.

Click here to Get the Setup File, of use the Setup CD-ROM.
Read the information carefully taking note how to run the setup file if setup does not start automatically. Then click the Download button.

  1. Select Start Setup.

  2. Select appropriate region and click Next.

     Select Country or Region. Next button outlined in red

  3. Select Yes on the License Agreement.

  4. Select Agree or Do Not Agree to the Survey.

  5. Select Next.

  6. Select Yes on the Connection Method.

  7. Setup continues.  If the Select wireless router screen (below) appears, select the wireless router to connect to the printer, enter the Network Key (password) and click Next.
    NOTEThe router being used and its network settings determines whether or not this screen appears

  8. Information appears.

  9. Network Connection completed.  Click Next.

  10. The Test Print screen appears next.  This can be performed or not.  If you choose to perform the print,  follow the on-screen instructions.

  11. Setup complete.  Click Next.

  12. Select any optional application software desired (Defaults, Clear All or select by checkbox).  Click Next.

  13. Click Next.

  14. Click Next or Skip.

  15. Click Exit.
