Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY Bluetooth Setup example

For applicable Android smartphones and tablets**, the Bluetooth Setup function can be used to print or scan

An example of this setup is shown below. "TS Printer" is used only as an example, actual name will vary by model

**NOTE For iOS devices:  Printing and scanning via Bluetooth is not available.

**NOTE:  Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your Android device.

Pairing Smartphone and Printer

Follow the steps below to pair your smartphone and the printer.

  1. Make sure the printer is turned on.
     
  2. Start Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY.
     
  3. Open the Canon Print app and tap No when you are asked to search for available printers.


     
  4. Tap the screen once.



    Tap More.


     
  5. Tap Bluetooth Setup.



    Tap Next.



    Tap OK.



    When your printer appears in the list, tap it.



    Your Android device will communicate with the printer.



    Tap Next.


     
  6. Tap on the listing for your printer


     
  7. Check the printer's LCD screen for the PIN number.  On models without an LCD display, the PIN will be listed on the Network Configuration Page.  Click here for instructions on printing the Network Configuration Page.  Tap OK after entering the PIN number.



    Tap the back button on your device. 



    Your Android device will communicate with the printer.


     
  8. When the Android device and your printer are paired, tap OK.


     
  9. Setup is complete.  To print, tap Select Images.



    Select an image to print.  On the Print screen, the Bluetooth icon will be displayed.
