Paper may occasionally get stuck when paper is fed from the lower cassette. Here's how to remove that jam.
-
Press Stop to cancel any print jobs, then turn the printer off and unplug the power cord.
-
Detach the rear cover panel by pushing the tabs on the back of the printer towards the middle, then pulling away from the printer.
-
Remove the rear cover panel.
-
Remove the transport unit cover by gripping the middle, lifting slightly, and pulling back gently.
-
Slowly pull out the jammed paper.
If the paper is rolled up and it is difficult to remove, grasp the edges of the paper and pull gently.
-
After removing the paper, replace the transport unit cover and the rear cover panel.
When reinserting the transport unit cover, be sure that the tabs on the left and right sides slide into the grooves in the printer.
-
After the rear cover has been put back into the printer, plug in the printer and turn it on.
-
Restart your print job.
