Solution

To adjust print quality when printing from a Mac, follow the steps below.
  1. From the application you want to print from, click File and Print....
     
  2. When the Print dialog opens, make sure that your printer is selected.



    You may need to click Show Details to expand the Print dialog.
     
  3. Click on the pop-up menu that shows the name of the application that you are printing from.


     
  4. Select Media & Quality.


     
  5. Adjust the slider for print quality as needed.  Then, click Print.
