Connecting your Printer to a Wired LAN

Description

This article shows how to connect your PIXMA TS9120 to a wired LAN.

 

Solution

Before Starting Wired Connection Setup

  1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.

    If the power is on, the POWER lamp (A) will be lit.

If the printer is performing cleaning, print head alignment, or other processes

Wait for the process to finish, before starting setup.

  1. You will need an Ethernet cable (sold separately).

  2. Remove the Cap (B) from the port located on the left side at the back of the printer.

  3. Connect the printer and a network device (router, etc.) with an Ethernet cable (C).

    Do not connect to any other port.

  4. If HOME is displayed on the left side of the screen, tap HOME.

  5. Tap Network status (D).

  6. Tap LAN settings.

  7. Tap Wired LAN.

  8. Tap Wired LAN active/inactive.

    Wired LAN screen: Select Wired LAN active/inactive
  9. Tap Active.

    Wired LAN screen: Select Active
  10. Tap HOME on the left side of the screen.

    When connection is complete, Network status appears at the bottom left of the screen.

The network connection setup is now complete.
