Before you begin
Your camera comes with several pre-loaded picture styles, but you might want to create your own custom style file using Picture Style Editor -- software which allows you to create custom file has settings for sharpness, contrast, color saturation, color tone, gamma curve and color map.

Save a custom picture style to your camera
- Connect your camera to your computer with a USB cable.
- Turn on the camera and set mode dial to a Creative Zone mode (such as <P>).
- At the computer, start the EOS Utility Ver. 3.x.
- Select Camera settings.
- Select Register Picture Style File.
- Select one of the user-defined style tabs. You can save up to three to the camera at a time.
- Select the
button.
- Select the picture style file (with the .pf2 or .pf3 extension), and select Open. Picture style files are usually saved in the following locations:
- Windows: Computer > Windows (C:) > Program Files > Canon > Digital Photo Professional 4 > pf
- Mac OS X: Macintosh HD > Applications > Canon Utilities > Digital Photo Professional 4> pf
- Select the picture style file to load and select OK.
- Turn off the camera and unplug the USB cable.
- Turn the camera back on.
- Press the camera's <MENU> button and select [Picture Style] in the menu to display the picture style selection screen and confirm that the style you just loaded appears.
