View and save the manuals
You need an application that can open PDF files to view the manuals. Adobe Reader is one such free program but there are others. You can also download the manuals for your camera from the Canon website.
Insert the [Software INSTRUCTION MANUAL] disk into the computer.
Select the CD-ROM icon or navigate to the disc in your file utility.
To view the manual, open the folder containing your language and then open the manual you want to read. To copy the manuals, copy the folder containing your language to a local drive.
