About image compositing

You can combine more than one image with the compositing tool for artistic effect.
  • All image types are supported.
  • The color space of the background image is used as the color space for the composited image.
  • Image data is not appended to the data for the background image.
  • 32-bit Windows operating systems are not supported.

Steps to composite an image

  1. Select a background image in the main window.
    Select images for composting
  2. Select Tools -> Start Compositing
  3. The compositing tool window appears. Select the image to combine from the Foreground Image dialog. A preview of the combined image is shown.
  4. Select a compositing method and, if available, adjust the sliders and angles to get the effect you want.
