Solve driver issues after an upgrade
If the printer driver or scanner driver status does not appear on Windows 8.1 or scanning does not start when you select Scan, you may have an issue with device drivers.
To correct the issue, reinstall the drivers by using the CD-ROM that came with your machine or downloading the latest software from the Device & Downloads page of the Canon website.
