Description

This article shows how you can access the Canon IJ Cloud Printing Center when using Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY on a mobile device.  This article applies to both iOS and Android devices.

Solution

The Canon IJ Cloud Printing Center allows you to print out images and crafts from sources such as Facebook, Instagram, or images saved in your Google Drive.  This can easily be accessed from a mobile device.  To do this, please follow the steps below.

NOTE: The example shown in this article refers to accessing Canon CREATIVE PARK PREMIUM contents.  These contents will not be available if non-genuine Canon ink is installed in your printer.

  1. Open Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY on your iOS or Android device.  If you do not have this app, click here for information on the iOS version, or here for information on the Android version.  After you have downloaded and installed this app, register your printer with the app.  Click here for instructions on registration with the iOS version, or here for instructions for registration with the Android version.

  2. From the main menu of Canon PRINT Inkjet / SELPHY, tap More.

NOTE: For information on models that can access the IJ Cloud Printing Center, please click here.

  3. Tap Cloud.

  4. When the login screen for the Canon Inkjet Cloud Printing Center appears, tap Start.  If you have not created an account, tap Create new account.

If you need to create a new account to register your printer with the IJ Cloud Printing Center, follow the steps shown near the top of this article.  You can also print a registration ID for your printer to get it registered with the IJ Cloud Printing Center.  Click here for information.

  5. If you tapped Start in Step 5, you will be prompted to sign in with your Canon ID.

Enter your email address and password and tap Sign in, or sign in with Facebook or Google.  If you do not have a Canon ID, you can click here and then click Create a Canon ID account.

  6. When you have signed into the IJ Cloud Printing Center, you will see a list of apps available.  You can tap on any of the apps listed in order to access images that are stored there.  However, there are other apps available that can be added to the list.  To access these additional apps, tap Config.

  7. A list of apps that are currently displayed will appear.  Under these apps, you will see the word ON with a check next to it.  When you see this screen, tap Search apps.

After tapping Search apps, tap All.

  8. An expanded list of apps will appear.  Scroll through the list and tap OFF next to each app that you want to enable.  OFF will turn into ON and the app in question will become available.  In this example, Creative Park pop-up card will be enabled.

After you have enabled the apps that you wish to access, tap Apps at the bottom of the screen.

  9. You will be back at the Apps screen.  Tap on the app that you wish to access.  In this example, Creative Park pop-up card will be accessed.

  10. Depending on the app you want to access, you may see a license agreement.  If such an agreement appears, read it and tap Agree to continue.

  11. Tap on any of the items that you wish to browse through.

Before printing, you will be able to adjust print settings, such as the number of copies you want to print and the kind of paper you want to print on.  If you want to change any of these settings, tap on the setting(s) you wish you change and make your selection(s).  Then, tap Print.

  12. A confirmation message will appear.  To print, tap OK.  If you do not want to print, tap Cancel.

If you tap OK, the print data will be sent to your printer.

When the data has been sent, you will receive a notification.

NOTE: It may take a few moments for your printer to start printing.

Tap Go to app list to go back to the main menu of the IJ Cloud Printing Center.  Tapping Go to app top will take you back to the main level of the app you selected earlier:
