Follow the Easy Wireless Connect steps below to set up your printer on a wireless network from a Mac®.
There are two parts to the setup process.

Start the setup on your printer.

Download and run the setup files on your computer.
1. Start the setup process on your printer

Select Setup (A) on the printer.

Use the right or left arrow or (B) to select Wireless LAN setup.

Select Easy WL connect and tap OK.

When you see the screen below, you're ready to start Part 2 of the setup.
It may take a moment for the printer to change to this screen.
2. Download and run the setup file on your computer

Click here to get the setup file.

Read the instructions carefully, note any important messages, then tap Download.

Tap Next on the start screen.

Select Start Setup.
-
Select the appropriate region, then tap Next.

Tap Yes to the License Agreement.

Select Agree or Do Not Agree to the Survey.

A status check occurs. Wait for it to finish.

Select Yes on the connection method screen.
(Model #) is used as an example. Your actual model series number will appear in the setup program.

Setup continues. If the Select wireless router screen (below) appears, select your router, enter your Network Key (password), and select Next.
Your router and network settings determine whether or not this screen appears.

Select Next when the connection completes.

The printer drivers install. Wait for the process to finish.

Tap Add Printer on the Add Printer screen.

Select the G series with Bonjour Multifunction listed in the Kind column. Select your Canon G (Model #) series from the Use: drop-down list, then tap Add.
GS (Model #) series is used as an example only.

Tap Next on the Add Printer screen.

Tap Execute to complete a test print, or Next to continue.

Tap Next on Setup Complete screen.

Select any optional software you want to add, then tap Next.

Tap Next.
-
Select Next to complete registration or Skip to continue.

Tap Exit. Installation completes and you're ready to print.
