How do i reset my roller counters? (DR-C230/C240)

Description

If you just replaced the consumable rollers in your imageFORMULA scanner, the next step is to reset the roller counts.

Solution

Follow these steps to reset the counter for your consumable rollers (Windows/Mac).



Log on to Windows as an Administrator
  1. Click the Start button, and then click [All Programs], [canon DR-C240] / [Canon DR-C230], and [Canon imageFORMULA Utility].
    imageFORUMLA Utility starts.



    In Windows 8.1, it is registered at the following location.

     
  2. Click [Canon DR-C240 USB] / [Canon DR-C230 USB] and click [Properties].
    Scanner properties are displayed.

     
  3. Click the [Maintenance] tab and then select [Reset].

    The counter for [Current Rollers] resets.
     
  4. Click [OK] to close the scanner properties.

  1. Open the scanner driver's Detail Settings screen.
     
  2. Click  to display the [Scanner Information] dialog box.

     
  3. Click [Maintenance] to display the [Maintenance] dialog box.
     
  4. Click [Reset].

     
  5. Click  to close the dialog box.
