Description

Learn how to remove paper jammed to resolve a 1300 error.

Solution

Follow the instructions below to remove paper jammed in the paper output slot or rear tray.

If paper becomes jammed while printing, tap Stop end any print jobs and turn the printer off.



Remove paper

  1. Slowly pull out paper, either from the paper output slot or the rear tray, whichever is easier.
  • Hold the paper with both hands, and pull it out slowly so it doesn't tear.

  1. If you cannot pull out the paper, turn the printer back on and the paper may eject automatically.
  2. If the paper tears or remains jammed try either of the following options to remove the paper from inside the printer.

  1. After jam is removed, turn the printer back on.
  • If you previously turned the printer off the print data was erased and you will have to reprint to resume job.
  1. Reload paper and select OK. 
  • ​​ When you reload the paper, make sure to load it correctly.
  1. You can now resume printing,
