Passport scanning does not come out as expected

Description

Depending on the condition of the carriar sheet or passport, the image may not be scanned completely or the scanner's image correction may not function properly.

Solution

Configure the settings as shown below:
  1. Set [Page Size] to a larger paper size (A4, for example) on the scanner driver settings screen, and then scan again.
     
  2. Set [Dots per inch] to 300 dpi or less on the scanner driver settings screen.
     
  3. If you scanned the passport with the side with fewer pages fed first, place the passport so that the side with the more pages is fed into the scanner first, and make sure that side is near the very end of the carriar sheet.
