This article shows how to check the status of the maintenance cartridge in the LX-D5500 / LX-P5510.

Solution

Checking the Ink Information

The ink information will be indicated on the status monitor and by the ink warning lamp.

  • The imaintenance cartridge is full and must be replaced. 

  

 

  • The maintenance cartridge has limited free space.

    Free space: About 20% 

    (It is recommended to have a new maintenance cartridge ready.)

  

 

  • The maintenance cartridge has free space.
