1. Open Roll Cover.

   

2. Open Upper Unit.

   

3. Open Cutter Cover, move Cutter to the central position, and remove Delivery Cover.

   

4. Remove Manual Cutter.

   

    Of the 4 removed screws, 3 of them will be reused in later steps.

5. Hook the clamp plate of the included Spur Guide Unit to the rectangular aperture of Spur Holder.

   

6. Tighten the screw of Spur Guide Unit.

   

7. Connect Relay Harness connector to the printer.

   

8. Remove Optional Cutter Unit from the package box and then remove fixing tapes and cushioning materials.

    Save and store the removed cushioning materials for future transportation in relocation, repairing of the printer, etc.

   

9. Remove Cutter Mounting Plate from Cutter Unit.

   

10. Attach Cutter Mounting Plate to the printer.

    

11. Tighten the screws to fix Cutter Mounting Plate.

     Use the 2 of the screws removed in the previous step for the top of Cutter Mounting Plate.

     Tighten the 2 screws with washers attached to the bottom of Cutter Mounting Plate beforehand.

    

12. Connect Relay Harness connector to Cutter Mounting Plate.

    

13. Open Upper Door of Cutter Unit and then remove Front Cover

    

14. Insert Cutter Unit by aligning it with Rail.

    

15. Connect Relay Harness(Cutter Unit side) connector to Cutter Mounting Plate.

    

16. Insert Cutter Unit into the printer until it stops and tighten the screw to fix Cutter Unit.

     Use the screws removed when removing Cutter in earlier step.

    

17. Hook the 2 claws of Front Cover and attach the cover.

    

18. Open Upper Door and tighten the screws to fix Front Cover.

    

19. Close Upper Door of Cutter Unit, Upper Unit and Roll Cover of the printer.
