Connecting your MAXIFY MB2020 Printer to a Wireless LAN via Cableless Setup

Solution

Your MAXIFY MB2020 printer can be connected to a wireless LAN via Cableless Setup. The printer must first be set up in Cableless Setup mode so that it can receive network information from a computer or mobile device. Follow these steps to place your printer in Cableless Setup mode.

From the Home screen, use the arrows to select WLAN. Press OK.
Press OK on Wireless LAN setup..

NOTE: The printer may detect WPS capable routers nearby.

You will be prompted to press the WPS button on the router.

On this screen, press the Stop button. Then, proceed to the next step.
Select Other setup and press OK.
Select Cableless setup and press OK.
Press OK.
When the screen below appears, continue with the setup on your mobile device using the mobile app or on your computer using the setup program. Follow any onscreen instructions.
