If you are experiencing a 1062 error code (11 alarm lamp flashes of the printer), this is because the printer is detecting a paper width that does not match what is specified in the printer driver.  To prevent this error, you can disable the Detect paper width option in the printer driver.  Follow the steps below to disable this option.

1. Open the printer driver setup window.
    
2. Click the Maintenance tab at the top of the window.
    
3. Click Custom Settings.
   
   
    
4. Click on Detect paper width to uncheck this option.  Then, click OK.
   
   
    
5. When you are prompted to apply the settings to the printer, click OK.
   
   
    
6. When you return to the Printing Preferences window, click OK.

After disabling Detect paper width, try to print again.

 Note

• To enable Detect paper width, follow the steps above, but place a check in the box for Detect paper width in step 4.
