Description

Using the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool, you can assign one of the following functions to the Function key on the operation panel.
  • Count Clear
  • Count Only
  • Manual Feeding
  • Batch Separation

Solution

By pressing the Function key, you can enable/disable the assigned function.

A USB connection is required to make this setting with the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool. When connected via wired LAN, you cannot set the Function of the Function key.

The scanner's factory default Function key assignment is "Count Clear".
  1. Open the Canon imageFORMULA Driver Setting Tool.

  2. On the [Control] tab sheet, click the [Setting] button for [Hardware].
The Hardware Settings dialog box appears.

  3. Select the function to assign to the Function key from the [Function] list on the [Button control] tab sheet.

  4. Click the [OK] button to close the settings screen.
