Use the Easy Wireless Connect method to connect a PIXMA TS9520 or TS9521C to wireless network (LAN) using a Mac.

Solution

Learn how to use the Easy Wireless Connect method to connect a PIXMA TS9520 or TS9521C wirelessly.

NOTE For a Windows computer, click here for instructions.

NOTE The Printer must be connected to the wireless network to print or scan wirelessly, and the correct drivers and software must be installed on the computer.
 


The setup process consists of 2 parts:

  1. Starting Easy Wireless Connect on the printer.
  2. Download and run the setup file.

 

1. Start Easy Wireless Connect on the printer.

  1. Tap the Wireless connect icon Wireless connect (A).

    HOME screen: Select Wireless connect

  2. Tap Yes.

  3. When the printer is ready to continue, the screen below appears.
    It may take time until the printer is detected and this screen appears.

    Easy wireless connect screen: Follow the instructions on the computer or smartphone, etc. to perform the operation.
     

 

2. Download and run the setup file.

Click the link to Get the Setup File, identify the file compatible with your computer's operating system and tap Setup icon to initiated download.  Double-click the downloaded .dmg file if setup icon does not appear  Once you complete the download follow the steps below to complete the setup process.

 If you see a message like this:

Select OK. Then, control-click on the setup file, select Open, then select Open in the error message window. This will allow the setup program to proceed.

  1. Click Next.

  2. Enter your user name and password. Then, click Install Helper.

  3. Click Start Setup.

  4. Click Next.

    Read the information on the Before You Continue screen, then click Next (outlined in red)

  5. Select region and click Next.

    Select your country or place of residence, then click Next (outlined in red)

  6. Click Yes on the License Agreement.

  7. Click Yes on the Connection Method screen.

    Verify the printer and serial number shown, then click Yes (outlined in red)

  8. Click Add Printer.

  9. Select your printer series with Bonjour Multifunction listed in the Kind column and click Add.

  10. Click Next.

  11. Click Next.

  12. Click Next on Setup Complete.

  13. Select any optional software you wish to install and click Next.

  14. Click Next.

  15. Select to either register the printer or Skip.

    If you wish to register your printer, click Register Now. Otherwise, click Skip (both buttons outlined in red)

  16. Select whether or not to create a shortcut to the online manual and click Next.

  17. Click Exit.

    Installation completed successfully, click Exit (outlined in red)
