Removing Jammed Paper from the Rear Side - TS9520 / TS9521C

Solution

The following video will walk you through the process outlined below.



If you are unable to remove paper jammed inside the printer, you may be able to remove it from the rear side.  Follow the instructions below to remove jammed paper from the rear side of the printer.
 

 Note

  • If paper becomes jammed during printing and you need to turn off the printer to remove it, tap Stop to stop the printing before you turn off the printer.
 
  1. Rotate printer so that rear side of printer faces toward you.



     

     
  2. Open rear tray cover and then pull up paper support.



     
  3. Pull out the rear cover.



     

     
  4. Slowly pull out paper.



     

     Note

    • Do not touch the inner parts of the printer.


    If you were not able to remove the paper in this step, detach the transport unit cover and remove the paper by following these steps.

    1. Lift up the transport unit cover and pull it out.



       

       
    2. Slowly pull out paper.



       

       Note

      • Do not touch the inner parts of the printer.
         
    3. Make sure all jammed paper is removed.
       

    4. Insert the transport unit cover slowly all the way into printer and take down the transport unit cover.



       

       
  5. Insert the projections of the right side of the rear cover into the printer, and then push the left side of the rear cover until it is closed completely.
