Connecting Your Printer to a Wireless LAN (WPS PIN Code) - iP110

 

Description

This article shows how to start a wireless connection of your PIXMA iP110 to a wireless LAN using the WPS PIN code method.

 

Solution

To connect your PIXMA iP110 to a wireless router using the WPS PIN code method, please follow the steps below.
 
  1. Load a sheet of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper.
     

  2. Hold down the RESUME/CANCEL button (A) on the printer until the POWER lamp (B) flashes 6 times, then release the RESUME/CANCEL button after the sixth flash.

    The wireless connection setting information including the PIN code will be printed (an example of this page is attached to this article).



     
  3. Hold down the RESUME/CANCEL button on the printer until the POWER lamp flashes 8 times, then release the RESUME/CANCEL button after the eighth flash.



     
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions on the device (such as a smartphone) to set the WPS PIN CODE described on the printed Network Configuration Page to the access point.
     

  5. Make sure that the Wi-Fi lamp (C) on the printer is lit.
