WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is a method that allows you to easily connect network devices to a secure wireless network. You do not need to know your SSID or password (network key) when using this method. If you have a Wireless access point or router that supports WPS, you can easily connect your Canon wireless printer to your home network.
WPS Connection

Tap WPS (Push button method).

Tap OK.

Press and hold the WPS button on the wireless router.

Tap OK on the printer within 2 minutes.
If a different screen appears, see "Troubleshooting."

When the screen on the below appears, tap OK.

Tap on the left side of the screen.
When connection is complete, appears at the bottom left of the screen.
The network connection setup is now complete*.
* If you will be using the TR8520 to wirelessly print or scan from a Mac or Windows computer, software must be installed on the computer to enable these functions. Select the appropriate link below to download the software.
