Using the USB Power Adapter PD-E1, you can charge Battery Pack LP-E6N without removing it from the camera.
Note
- Battery Pack LP-E6 cannot be charged this way.
- The battery will stop charging if you operate the camera.
- If the Battery Grip BG-E22 is being used, both batteries installed must be LP-E6N.
- Connect the USB power adapter.
- With the camera's power switch to , insert the USB power adapter fully into the digital terminal.
- Connect the power cord.
- Connect the power cord to the USB power adapter and plug the other end into a power outlet.
- Charging begins and the access lamp lights green.
- When charging is finished the access lamp turns off and [FULL] is indicated on the LCD panel. Unplug the power cord and disconnect the USB power adapter.
CAUTION
- To protect batteries and keep them in optimal condition, do not charge continuously for more than 24 hours.
- In the case of charging problems. the access lamp blinks in green, [Err] is displayed on the LCD panel, and a protective circuit stops charging. In the case, unplug the power cord, reattach the battery, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it in again. If the problem persists, contact your dealer or nearest Canon Service Center.
