With certain wireless routers, you may find that when attempting to connect a PIXMA or MAXIFY wireless printer to that router that the printer will immediately attempt to connect even if a wireless key is set up on that router. If this happens, the printer may need to be connected to the wireless router via the WPS PIN Code method.
Please refer to your wireless router's documentation for instructions on entering a WPS PIN Code to allow the printer to establish a wireless network connection.
If you are unable to connect the printer to your wireless router via the WPS Pin Code method, you may be able to use the WPS Push Button method. Most wireless routers wil have this button.
