The printer will attempt to connect to the network.

If you have not installed the drivers and / or software for your printer, you can use the setup CD-ROM to install the drivers and software, or you can download the drivers and software from our website.

Windows:

Under the Drivers tab, download and install the MG6300 MP Drivers.

Under the Software tab, download and install either My Image Garden or Easy-PhotoPrint EX.

macOS:

Under the Drivers tab, download and install all of the drivers shown.

Under the Software tab, download and install My Image Garden and the Canon IJ Network Tool.

For versions of macOS earlier than 10.14, you can download Easy-PhotoPrint EX if desired.

You will need to click the Apple menu, then go into System Preferences.  Go to Printers and Scanners, click the plus sign on the left side of the window, and add the Canon IJ Network listing for the printer to add it to your printer list.

If the printer fails to connect to your network, tap OK.

Turn off the printer, unplug it, and unplug your wireless router.  Wait for 30 seconds, then plug the router back in.  After the router has finished initializing, plug the printer back in, turn it on, and attempt to connect again.
