"Port is Using...." is displayed and printing via USB cannot be performed

Solution

Port is Using message is displayed


If the above message is displayed and printing via USB cable fails, uninstall the Extended Survey Program
  • In Control Panel -> Programs and Features (or Control Panel->Programs->Programs and Features), uninstall the Extended Survey Program (Canon Inkjet Printer/Scanner/Fax Extended Survey Program).
